The Fuel Island Genus terminal places all crucial attendant and vehicle information at your fingertips. With a simple key press, vehicle identification, mileage, fuel utilization, vehicle damage, and lost & found items can be logged and displayed.
The fleet terminal also features a rugged and durable enclosure that protects it from dirt, rain, sleet, snow and ice. The terminal display can operate in myriad of harsh environments and still maintain its well lit readable display. The display's cost effective dual user design allows two service attendants at each end of the fuel island to efficiently share the same terminal.
Since the terminal is Java Programmable, added functionality can be programmed into the terminal. Genus Fleet Terminals can be equipped with fixed position or handheld barcode scanners. A barcode scanner allows attendants to quickly log their employee identification number, a vehicle identification number, or any other bar-coded resource by simply pressing the trigger on the scanner gun. A terminal scanner is also capable of logging numeric information, such as vehicle mileage, through its conveniently placed numeric key pad. When an event is registered by the scanner, feedback is conveyed to the service attendant. A series of beeps made by the scanner's audio enunciator or a prompt message displayed on scanner's backlight LCD (liquid crystal display), ensures no attendant misses any crucial detail in the vehicle servicing process.
Similarly to the Fuel Island Genus terminal, fuel island scanners are designed to operate in a range of environmental conditions. Fleet Management scanners are solid-state, allowing them to operate after being subjected to strong forces. The scanner's water tight seal and internal heat transistor eliminates any chance of moisture build up. A heavy duty communication cable allows attendants to perform their duties in a 25' range and a tamper proof sensor alerts fleet operators when the scanner is not performing correctly to specification.

The Fuel Island ticket printer is an industrial grade thermal printer. The printer is designed to perform, while requiring little to no maintenance while operating in the field. Since the printer utilizes thermal printing technology, a printing technology that requires no consumable ink cartridges or printer ribbons, there is no constant need to continuously replace consumable ink cartridges or printer ribbons for the printer. The thermal printer can superbly endure frigid conditions by employing its internal heater to regulate its operating temperature. In an effort to reduce printer maintenance, the printer is also designed to hold extra-large rolls of thermal paper, reducing the frequency that paper has to be reloaded into the printer. Low paper and out of paper sensors can remotely alert fleet employees, eliminating the need to micromanage any terminal printer. In the unlikely event that components fail, the modular design of the printer makes it extremely easy for semi-skilled personnel to replace broken components.
The versatile ticket printer is capable of printing receipt tickets for a number of management applications in a number of languages. Printing customer receipts, vehicle hang tags, service tickets, turn back tickets, lost & found item tickets, temporary employee badges, and performance reports are just some of the many print jobs the printer can accomplish. Print jobs can also be custom programmed to meet the unique demands of any vehicle management process.

The Sequence Module is a fuel island component that gives service attendants and service managers instantaneous feedback regarding the service status of a particular fuel island.
The module was designed to allow service personnel to easily identify each of the processing steps in a vehicle servicing sequence and to allow two service attendants to utilize one terminal without confusion.
The luminous colored lights on the Sequence Module allow service managers a method of visually scanning across the service station to see how each Fuel Island is being used.
Three color coded lights help identify the sequence being performed by each attendant and two color coded push buttons allow attendants to move through the servicing sequence.
A green light indicates a vehicle is being serviced. A red light indicates that an attendant is active at the station, but is not servicing a vehicle at the current time.
If a vehicle requires no servicing, the red light alerts the attendant from providing any unnecessary servicing.
No lights indicate the service station is not in use.
When a vehicle's service is complete, the attendant presses the finish button on the sequence module to end the sequence. When an attendant presses the finish button, details regarding the vehicle's servicing is sent to the host server.
The Sequence Module also can read data from two fuel pump interfaces, allowing fleet managers to know how much fuel is being dispensed per vehicle servicing.

An option includes a video camera DVR system to record the daily activities on the fuel-island and premises.
